Knapp drei Jahre hat es gebraucht, von der Planung, der Koordination und der baulichen Umsetzung. Am vergangenen Wochenende wurde die 16 Hektar gro\u00dfe Biotoplandschaft am Fl\u00fcthewehr offiziell er\u00f6ffnet. Die erfolgreiche Zusammenarbeit zwischen \u00f6ffentlicher Hand, der Fa. Sartorius und der Heinz Sielmann Stiftung zeigen, wie es gelingen kann, mit unterschiedlichen Kompetenzen erfolgreich nachhaltige Naturschutzprojekte zu realisieren. „Biodiversit\u00e4t ist genauso wichtig wie der Klimaschutz“, so Dr. Fritz Brickwedde von der Heinz Siepmann Stiftung. Erste seltene Vogelarten wie der Eisvogel und der Rotmilan haben sich schon im Biotop angesiedelt. 16 Zebus (Buckelrinder) sorgen daf\u00fcr, dass die Fl\u00e4chen linksseitig der Leine nicht komplett zuwuchern.
