November zum \u201eInternationalen Tag f\u00fcr die Beseitigung der Gewalt gegen Frauen\u201c. An diesem Tag finden weltweit viele Protestaktionen statt. Die Stadt Northeim schlie\u00dft sich der UN Woman-Initiative \u201eOrange the World\u201c und \u201eFrei leben ohne Gewalt\u201c von Terres des Femmes an und hisst am heutigen Tage Fahnen vor dem Northeimer Rathaus.\u00a0Auch am M\u00fcnsterplatz finden die Fahnen ihren Platz. Damit setzen wir ein Zeichen f\u00fcr das Recht von Frauen auf ein Leben ohne Gewalt!\u00a0Die Zahlen des Bundeskriminalamtes belegen, dass jede dritte Frau in Deutschland mindestens einmal in ihrem Leben von physischer und\/oder sexualisierter Gewalt betroffen ist. Jede vierte Frau wird mindestens einmal Opfer k\u00f6rperlicher oder sexueller Gewalt durch ihren aktuellen oder fr\u00fcheren Partner. Im Jahr 2019 gab es 141.000 F\u00e4lle h\u00e4uslicher Gewalt. Diese Zahl kann 2020, auch durch die Corona-Pandemie, noch weiter steigen. Die Opfer waren zu 81 Prozent Frauen. <strong>Innerhalb der letzten drei Jahre waren es am Standort Northeim durchschnittlich \u00fcber 100 F\u00e4lle j\u00e4hrlich.<\/strong>\u00a0Diese alarmierenden Zahlen erfordern Ma\u00dfnahmen aus den Bereichen Gewaltschutz und Gewaltpr\u00e4vention sowie eine aktive Gleichstellungspolitik.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"bodytext\"><b>Das Hilfetelefon \u201eGewalt gegen Frauen\u201c ist anonym Tag und Nacht erreichbar unter der 08000 \u2013 116 116.<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">Foto: Lisa Sophie Recke, Gleichstellungsbeauftragte<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Vor 21 Jahren erkl\u00e4rten die Vereinten Nationen den 25.
